Characteristics

Optitan LP 161 is a bisphenol optimized retanning agent that produces the required phenol effect on leather. Bisphenol emissions in the product and in the subsequent leather are <500ppm.

Main characteristics:

• Bisphenol levels below 500ppm
• A full replacement for current retanning agents
• Suitable for wet blue, wet white and Zeo White
• Gives full and soft leather with a warm round feel and a lightweight handle
• Produces leather with very fine grain and a good grain tightness
• Excellent milling properties
