Due to its specific composition, Smit en zoon leather chemical POLYOL CT 688 is ideally suitable for the production of leathers with the specific character required for steering wheel and trim applications. The leather chemical POLYOL CT 688 is a fatliquor of medium stability. It is sensitive to water hardness, electrolytes and unfixed retanning agents and dyestuffs.

Polyol CT 688 is applied for leathers where a high degree of uniform grain tightness is of main importance. Leathers of medium softness are made with Polyol CT 688 as the main fatliquor.
