Bio-based Automotive Synthol CS 588 yields leathers of high softness, yet fully maintaining uniform grain tightness. Leathers fatliquored with Synthol CS 588 demonstrate a tight grain in all areas, which does not stop at the emptier parts. The visibility of flanks and bellies is notably reduced. Synthol CS 588 renders leathers with – very low fogging and emission values – neutral odour – very good heat yellowing properties.
