Synthol GT 616 reduces fibre tension of the leather fibers and relaxes the leather. Leathers have a wrinkle-free appearance. Synthol GT 616 shows low COD and BOD values. The exhaustion of conventional fatliquors notably improves when combined with Synthol GT 616. Synthol GT 616 is easily combined with regular fatliquors to obtain specific types of leather. Synthol GT 616 does emulsify well at low temperatures.
